What's in fashion for men’s suits?
Tweed suits are hugely fashionable for today’s gentleman. Inspired by traditional British fabrics, tweed suits have never been more popular and are ideal for getting a vintage or Peaky Blinders look.
How do you style a men's suit?
A suit should be worn with a focus on looking neat, tidy and sophisticated. Don’t overdo it with the likes of jewellery or accessories; a shirt, tie and shoes, with the added option of a hat or pocket watch and cufflinks, will make the perfect statement.
Where can you buy suits?
We’re confident that Suit Direct is one of the best suit stores online – with a huge selection of men’s suits from top UK brands such as Ben Sherman, Jeff Banks, Gibson London and more – at amazing prices.
How do you measure suits?
The most important part is knowing your size. Measuring up for a suit can take a little bit of effort, but is worthwhile. Always size up if you’re looking at a skinny fit suit jacket and trousers, and don’t rely on measurements from last year - you’d be surprised how much they can change. Measure: The most prominent part of the chest, The narrowest part of the waist and from the top seam of the inside leg to the trouser hem.
Then, slip on a jacket and measure from the shoulder to the cuff - around 1cm of your shirt’s cuff, ideally, should be visible. Men with larger waistlines should take this measurement where they would naturally wear their trousers - this will ensure a plus sized gentleman can still get a comfortable fit.
